    Jake quickly rolled over, swearing as he knocked his alarm off the nightstand. It had startled him when it went off. Unfortunately, as of late, this was not a rare occurrence. As he sat on the side of the bed, rubbing his temples, he picked up his cell phone and noticed he had seventeen missed messages.

    "Fuck! I've not even showered yet!" He yelled into his empty studio apartment.
